It’s been another busy and fashionable week in Lagos. You, yes you Tongue! – deserve a boozy treat. Nothing takes the edge off the stress, nor is more relaxing than a simple boozy treat most especially when it’s easy to make.

We officially call this treat the “Relazz and Be Taken Kiaruf” popsicle. My, my, my! Your tastebuds will thank you. Whether you’re hosting friends or doing this as part of your self-care routine, this easy-to-make homemade treat is a must-try.

Indulge in this boozy mango creamy slice of heaven made in three simple steps:

2 Large sweet mangoes
2 Tables spoons of sugar
50ml Angostura Reserva Rum
100ml Cream Liquor
100ml Sweetened Greek Yoghurt
125ml Full Cream Milk
200ml Whipping cream (heavy cream)

Step 1
Peel off the skin of the mangoes and chop them into bite-size pieces. This makes it easier and quicker to blend. In a blender, place the chopped mangoes, add the Greek yogurt, sugar, and full cream milk. Blend until smooth.

Step 2
Pour the mix into a bowl and add the whipping cream, cream liquor, and Angostura Reserva Rum. Stir until everything blends in.

Step 3
Pour the mix into the pockets of the popsicle mold and leave to freeze for 6-8 hours.

This recipe will make 10 popsicles.
